Robins-Hardy helps Team USA win all three pool play matches

BYU women's volleyball senior setter Alohi Robins-Hardy helped the U.S. Collegiate National Team defeat Israel (U23) in three sets (25-17, 29-27, 25-6) and The Czech Republic (U23) in three sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-18) Tuesday as part of the European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia.

The squad outblocked Israel 15-2 and had a 7-1 service ace advantage in the win.

In the second match against The Czech Republic, Robins-Hardy started - contributing 29 assists, three aces, two kills and two blocks in the win. She helped the team convert 46 percent of its attacks while hitting at a .247 clip. The team again outblocked its opponent by a 12-3 differential and had a 9-4 margin of victory in aces.

On Wednesday, Robins-Hardy helped her squad defeat Bring It Promotions (BIP) Midwest 2-1 (25-22, 25-14, 18-25). The team again had a .247 hitting percentage in the win.

Robins-Hardy will next compete Thursday, July 13, in the championship pool bracket. The quarterfinals take place at 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. MT with the semifinals taking place later on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. MT on simultaneous courts. The championship match is slated for Friday, July 14, at 11 a.m. MT.
